　　For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write a short essay on how to best handle the relationship between teachers and students. You should write at least 120 words but no more than 180 words.

　　In the past, teachers were among the most esteemed members of our society. Unfortunately, with the rocketing development of science and technology, teachers are no longer the sole source for us to obtain information and the relationship between teachers and students has become less harmonious.

　　Consequently, it matters a great deal to handle this relationship in a reasonable and rational manner in current society. For teachers’ part, apart from imparting knowledge, they are also advised to keep a close eye on their students’ psychological development. It is a collective acceptance that the calling of a teacher is both instilling knowledge and cultivating their students’ character. For students’ part, they need to follow their teachers’ advice and show utmost respect to their teachers, who can provide the most valuable guide to their future development.

　　To put it in a nutshell, a harmonious relationship between teachers and students is conducive to the both the academic performance and psychological development of students. As a result, two sides, teachers and students alike, are supposed to spare no efforts to keep a balanced relationship.
