A bid by a local government in Indonesia's East Java province to curb prostitution by asking masseuses to wear a padlock on their pants was an insult, a newspaper quoted the minister for women's empowerment as saying.
该报道中，masseuse就是female massager/massagist（女按摩师）的意思。padlock指的就是a detachable lock that has a hinged shackle that can be passed through the staple of a hasp or the links in a chain and then snapped shut（挂锁）。日常生活中“锁”的种类还有：built-in lock（暗锁），checklock/safety lock（保险锁）等。如果锁不太好用，就被称作trick lock。
