　　A Report on the Volunteer Activity of Visiting a Local Primary School

　　To celebrate the Children’s Day, the Students’ Union of our university, associating a local primary school named Hope Primary School, organized a public benefit activity on May 31st, 2019. There were approximately 30 volunteers participating in such a meaningful and joyful event.

　　The theme of this activity is to advocate love and cultivate the spirit of mutual help. And the major content includes two parts: a 30 minutes mini English course and a one hour game session. A week before the Children’s Day, the volunteers, with the encouragement and assistance of the professors, prepared an English course related to daily oral English, including some key words and practical dialogs frequently used in the stationer, shopping mall and the airport. On the activity day, the pupils from Hope Primary School extended their passion and enthusiasm to both our volunteers and the curriculum content they presented. Furthermore, in the game session, all the participants, the volunteers and local pupils, played a set of interested and excited games together.

　　Such a lovely and valued experience reminds us of our childhood and enables us to play with the kids, show our love to them and get us away from the daily pressure. Wish all the kids a nice Children’s Day!
