Every year in January, there is a piece of local news in my hometown, Xiamen, that captures the attention of residents. The news is about the Xiamen International Marathon, which is held annually. Leading up to the closing date for entries, the local press always reports many related stories to encourage citizens to participate in this exciting event, either as participants or volunteers. The marathon is held on Huandao Road, which is known as "the most beautiful racing track for marathon" and is a famous tourist attraction in Xiamen. Because of this, the Xiamen International Marathon attracts famous international racers, who are drawn to the scenic route and the potential for achieving great results. After the race, there are many inspiring and heartwarming stories covered in the local newspaper. For example, it is common to see young people dressed up as superheroes like Batman, Spiderman, or Superman, using their costumes to express their love for running. Additionally, I read a story about a family of five who all participated in the 5-kilometer race to promote a strong and healthy lifestyle. I am inspired by these stories and hope to participate in the Xiamen International Marathon next year.

I would like to talk about Prince's Bay Park, which is my favorite park in Hangzhou. It is conveniently located in the city center and is not far from the famous West Lake. I usually take my friends to visit this park when they come to Hangzhou, but I don't go there very often on weekends because it tends to be crowded.

One of the main reasons why I love Prince's Bay Park is because of its stunning tulips. The park is filled with beautiful tulips that create a colorful and vibrant atmosphere. I used to have to pay an entrance fee, so I'm glad that it's now open to everyone without any charge.
