　　The National Bureau of Statistics released its 2019 report on China National Program for Women's Development (2011-20) on Dec. 22. The report is especially encouraging. The number of women continuing their education after post-graduation in 2019 was 1.45 million, or 50.6 percent of the total. The percentage of women in undergraduate colleges was 51.7 and in adult higher education 58.7. Given the 105.5 percent male-female ratio, women seem more inclined than men to continue higher studies.
