　　1、Describe a type of community work that you would like to take part in.

　　2、Do you prefer working at home using computers or working in the office?

　　3、R: The university is planning to cancel the poetry writing class. The poetry class is not worthwhile since only a small amount of students would choose to attend the poetry class. And those who chose to learn poetry could study in the nearby state university.

　　L: M: Read this announcement? I think the poetry writing class should not be canceled. W: Why? M: The smaller classes caused by the declining enrollment is actually gonna be good for students, it will be a great opportunity for students to draw up the professor's attention and communicate with their professors. W: Oh, that is going to be good for students. M: Yeah, and the state university is far away from the campus, it's about 1 hour's bus ride. That will make it harder for students who do not have a car to attend these classes. W: Yes, that is really inconvenient.

　　4、R: Releasers are objects that stimulate instinctive reactions of animals.

Let's say you are driving a bunch of friends to a restaurant and are not sure which way to go. You think you should turn left, whereas other people in the car think you are supposed to turn right. After all, you will follow their decision and turn left. Another kind of influence is normative influence. It happens when people want to be accepted by the group. For example, you are going to a movie with a group of friends and your friends think the film is perfect. Though you think the film is awful, you will agree with them because you want to fit in with them.
